Why weekly climbing?

More than getting up the wall.

01

Progressive skills

Build climbing technique and movement through age-appropriate coaching.

02

Physical & mental growth

Develop strength, focus, confidence and problem-solving.

03

Small classes

Receive closer attention from coaches trained to teach children.

04

An active routine

Take a break from screens, use restless energy positively and learn lasting soft skills.

Placement first

BFF will match the child, not just fill a slot.

Share the child’s age, current climbing experience, preferred outlet and availability. The team will confirm the appropriate level and available schedule.

Newer climber

Foundations

Movement, confidence, safe habits and learning how to approach progressively harder climbs.

Developing climber

Technique & consistency

More deliberate movement, problem-solving, route reading and steady progression.

Serious youth climber

Performance pathway

Discuss focused coaching, high-wall progression, workshops and preparation for youth competitions.

Confirmed after enquiry

Exact age group, ability level, day, time, outlet, term start and available place are confirmed by BFF after reviewing the interest form.

Next step

Tell BFF you are interested.

Submitting the interest form does not guarantee a place. BFF will contact you to confirm the suitable level, outlet, schedule, term start and availability.

Class questions

Before submitting interest.

Should my child start with a trial?

A trial is the simplest way to experience the class format before committing to a term. BFF can advise based on your child’s age and experience.

Does the form confirm a class place?

No. It records your interest. BFF will contact you after reviewing availability and your child’s needs.

Can experienced youth climbers join?

Yes. BFF coaches work with ability levels ranging from new climbers to young athletes preparing for competition.

What comes after weekly classes?

Depending on readiness and goals, youth climbers may progress towards lead workshops, high-wall training or BFF competitions.
