Common first-visit questions.
I already climb elsewhere. Do I still need a BFF account?
Yes. New BFF visitors should create a BFF account and complete its waiver before arriving, even if they are experienced climbers.
Does creating an account buy my entry?
No. Registration and the waiver prepare your profile. You still need valid paid entry or a pass to enter the climbing facility.
Do I need the account for a child’s Kids Guided Session?
Use the Kids Guided booking flow for the child’s session. If the child will later use Climb Zone, check the age, experience and supervision requirements on the Kids & Youth page.
Can staff help if registration is incomplete?
The front desk can guide you, but completing registration and the waiver before arriving makes check-in much faster.
I signed a waiver under the previous system. Must I sign again?
Yes. BFF’s current membership system requires its own waiver to be completed.
Why can’t I buy a youth pass in the app?
Youth passes are purchased over the counter because BFF needs to verify the climber’s age.
Will staff take a new photo?
Yes. The front-desk team will take the account photo when you visit the gym.
How do I cancel a booking?
Cancel through the BFF app or Mindbody portal. For a same-day issue, call the relevant outlet directly.
